...pregnancy symptoms and are 1 week late. I have been having pregnancy symptoms for almost 2weeks; 13 days to be exact. I am one week late on my menstrual. I know my body. I have all the symptoms of a pregnancy, but the HPT's and a blood test came up negative. Is it just too early to detect the HCG pregnancy hormone in my urine and blood? I have sore breasts, frequent urination, moodiness, nausea when I smell or eat things, backaches, extreme fatigue....also when I eat things, I am hungry, but when I eat, I feel like I'm full and I've only eaten like a bite of food!I mean, I've only had symptoms for 13days. Help! I and my fiancé have very good reason to believe I am pregnant due to these symptoms. What else could it be? Please help.

Yes. I was negative after 3 months (but thats not common). However after only a week late you may not have enough hormone built up in you're system to show up on the test. Give it another week or two.

Yes, I just had my second a couple months ago and with both children it didn't show positive until about a week and a half late. I got a false negative both times, so give it just a little longer and test again. Good luck!Also, try to relax and not stress out because too much stress can actually cause your period to be late.
